Chimney caps: To prevent water and animals from getting into your flue, your chimney needs a functioning chimney cap. We offer installation and repair of all types of chimney caps, including the screened caps that keep birds and squirrels out.

Chimney waterproofing: Your chimney is exposed to the elements, and because brick is porous, water seeps into the structure. With repeated cycles of freezing and thawing, the mortar and brick of your chimney is vulnerable cracking. We offer a concrete waterproofing material to keep your chimney from absorbing water and prevent this type of deterioration. The waterproofing agent is sprayed on and dries clearly and invisibly (with no shiny finish).

Chimney brickwork: Due to age, chimney fires, or other damage, you may need to replace some of the bricks in your chimney. Brian Grady & Sons can restore your chimney by replacing broken bricks; not only will brick replacement fix aesthetic problems, it can also resolve leaks and other issues.

Chimney crowns: Many chimney crowns are incorrectly installed when the fireplace was originally built; by using the same mortar they used for the brickwork of the chimney, the builders leave the crown vulnerable to cracking and crumbling. We can install a new chimney crown, made from a more flexible material that is far less likely to crack.
